It really wasn't long ago that all of America woke up to the radio. Homes across every city in the country started the day with the news, weather and the reassurance of a friendly voice telling them that it was all right to join the day. It is in this tradition that KEZW presents Rick Crandall and the Breakfast Club.

Breakfast Club host Rick Crandall spent a few minutes talking with his nephew, Drew Wheelan, who's in Grand Isle, Louisiana working for the American Birding Association. Drew is a wildlife biologist and has been assessing damage for a month and he provides a detailed description of the damage from the BP oil spill.
On May 5, 2010, Rick interviewed Eva Mozes Kor, an incredible woman who survived at age 10, along with her twin sister, the horrors of Dr. Mengele's Nazi medical experiments on twins at Auschwitz. She has co-written a book called "Surviving the Angel of Death" about her experiences that is aimed toward younger people, to show them the power of endurance, strength and forgiveness.
This is an amazing two part interview that you don't want to pass by. Rick called it one of the most moving and important interviews of his very long radio career. CLICK HERE for the special page.
